An Indian family gathered around the dinner table where the founding vision of the trust was first shared
Our Founding

A vision shared at the family dinner table.

Mr. Vinay Kohli, son of Shri Brij Lal Kohli and Smt. Pratibha Kohli, carried with him a quiet but persistent question — what does it mean to build a flourishing India? He shared the question with his wife and extended family, and discovered an answer that already lived among them: a shared sense of duty, of compassion, of responsibility to those less fortunate.

With identical aims and aligned hearts, Sanskriti and Sansakaar Enduring Tomorrow Trust 2.253 came into being on 3rd August 2017. A few weeks later, on 13th September 2017, the trust deed received its final registration — anchoring the organisation in a small home in Shahdara, Delhi, India with a quiet street, a modest beginning, and a sincere intention.

Together with a positive dream and the intention to return something meaningful to society, the journey began.

Nearly a decade on, that intention has not wavered. We remain a small, family-rooted trust working close to the ground — choosing depth over scale, sincerity over publicity, and continuity over campaign — with a working area that now spans all over India.

First Years

Education on the Streets

Regular educational support for street children begins, alongside the distribution of essentials — durries, food, and water — to ashrams and underserved families.

Ongoing

Festivals, Camps & Care

Holi celebrations with Rajinder Ashram, North East Delhi, drawing competitions for children, medical help for leprosy patients, and awareness sessions in schools through awards and recognition.

Today

Nine Causes, One Trust

From education and healthcare to environmental and animal welfare, the trust now works across nine focus areas — quietly, consistently, and close to the communities it serves.

What Drives Us

The values we return to, daily.

A short list, but a complete one. These four values are the quiet checks against which every initiative is measured before it begins.

i.

Integrity

Transparent intentions, honest reporting, and respect for the trust placed in us by every donor, volunteer, and beneficiary.

ii.

Service

Showing up — at the ashram, at the camp, at the school gate. Service is something we do with our hands, not from a distance.

iii.

Compassion

Meeting people where they are — without judgment, without fanfare. The dignity of those we serve is the dignity of our work.

iv.

Community Responsibility

We do not work for communities; we work as part of them. Long-term wellbeing is a shared, ongoing responsibility.

v.

Continuity

Real change is slow change. We choose initiatives we can return to, year after year, season after season.

vi.

Inclusion

Children, elders, women, animals, and the environment — our circle of concern is broad by design, never by accident.
